Main content start
On October 8, 2023, high school students from across the U.S. engaged in discussions about the role of AI in education, including the ways AI shapes assignments, tests, plagiarism concerns, and the nurturing of critical thinking skills in high school. Participants explored the potential repercussions of integrating AI into education, including educator views on AI in their work. This online event was sponsored by the Deliberative Democracy Lab at Stanford University, hosted on Stanford's Online Deliberation Platform, and organized by students at The Quarry Lane School, Nueva School, Saratoga High School, and Lynbrook High School. The materials from the event and the final results are available below.
