Macedonia Deliberative Poll
The European Policy Institute based in Skopje, Macedonia, under the guidance of the CDD, implemented the first Deliberative Poll in Macedonia. This national event gathered a random sample of the entire country for one weekend in November 2017. The participants engaged in a national discussion on the country’s ascension to the European Union. The event was sponsored by Civica Mobilista, a Swedish organization. The plenary session panelists included the current Speaker of the House and current and former Foreign Ministers. Parts of the two day event were televised by one of the leading television programs in the country, Top Tema.
