Throughout the course of a school week, students met in moderated small group discussions and plenary sessions with competing experts. The students deliberated in depth on specific policy proposals designed to reduce economic inequality, which included Universal Basic Income, Baby Bonds, more progressive tax structures, and capping executive pay. To aid in their discussions, participants used a detailed briefing book that discussed policy proposals in these four areas with balanced arguments for and against each proposal.
